Main information

The responsible handling of our customers’ data is of the utmost importance to Simelectro P&S.

Law 2016/679/EU relating to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) implies that data is collected, stored, and used in accordance with the said law.

Any application not falling within the above-mentioned framework of the GDPR can only be carried out upon obtaining your consent, after prior information.

However, this does not affect the right to data processing within the framework of the execution of a contract.

What data do we collect?

Contact and inquiry information: once active contact has been established between us (e.g. by email or from our contact form), data and information (name, address, company name, questions, phone number, email address and content of the request) are processed.

 

Registration data: if you register to receive our newsletter, we store the data upon registration (name, company name, address, email address, phone number).

For what purposes are your data processed by Simelectro P&S?

Simelectro P&S collects, stores, and uses your personal data to allow you access to special information, to contact you within the framework of our commercial relationship and to improve the services of Simelectro P&S and the website, in accordance with article 6 of the GDPR.

For example, this could be for advertising purposes to:

  • Sending marketing and product information, in relation to goods and services from the Simelectro P&S product ranges (by email, fax, social media messaging services),
  • Satisfaction surveys on services, products and/or advice,
  • requirement analyses,
  • Invitations to events, training opportunities,
  • Reminders if you have products that require tracking,
  • As part of local customs and traditions, such as sending Christmas cards or greeting cards

According to article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR, we cannot make these contacts without obtaining your consent. You may revoke this consent at any time, in part or in whole, by contacting Simelectro P&S.

How long do we keep your data?

We retain your data for as long as necessary to meet our obligations to users. However, due to our retention obligations, we keep your personal data in connection with orders and reservations for a minimum of three years after the execution of a contract.

If you have subscribed to one of our electronic newsletters or are contacted for marketing purposes and you are not one of our customers, we keep your data until your consent is revoked and for a maximum period of three years after your last contact.

How does Simelectro P&S protect your data?

We take the necessary technical and organizational security measures within the framework of Article 32 of the GDPR to protect your personal data from unintentional or illegal deletion, modification, damage, or loss, as well as unauthorized disclosure or access. Additionally, we and our employees are committed to complying with data privacy. However, it is not possible to guarantee 100% secure data transmission over the Internet or other networks. Therefore, while we strive to protect your information transmitted on or through our website, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit on or through our website and you do so at your own risk.

Our website may contain links to other websites or allow other sites to send you these links. A link to a third-party website does not mean that we endorse it or are affiliated with it. We have no control over third party websites. When you access third party websites or content, you do so at your own risk. Legal Compliance and Law Enforcement

We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials, as well as private third parties, to enforce and comply with the law. Procedure for the exercise of your rights

In accordance with the regulations applicable to personal data, you have a right of access, rectification, opposition, limitation of processing, erasure and portability of your personal data (article 15 of the GDPR).
